Disembody Electric and Semblance are two works that use a 3D scanned image of the artist.
Semblance is small-scale print of the scan that rotates as the focal point of a wall sculpture of a corner.
Disembody Electric is a 28-minute loop of the same 3D scan which has been manipulated by a wobbulator controlled by analog oscillators at Signal Culture, a media arts residency in Owego, NY. Altered electronic frequencies become audible and simultaneously effect the stability of the image on the screen.
